                         ब्रह्मांड (Cosmos)

ब्रह्मांड( Cosmos)-अणुओं से लेकर एक विशाल महाकाय आकाशगंगा तक के सम्मिलित रूप को ब्रह्मांड कहते हैं।

जिसमें तारे ,ग्रह , उपग्रह,उल्काऐ इत्यादि का अध्ययन किया जाता है।

   
 

* मिश्र यूनानी परंपरा के प्रख्यात खगोल शास्त्री  क्लॉडियस टाँल्मी ने  सर्वप्रथम ब्रह्मांड का नियमित अध्ययन प्रारंभ किया और बताया कि " पृथ्वी सूर्य के केंद्र में हैं एवं सूर्य व अन्य ग्रह की परिक्रमा करते हैं"।

* इस विचारधारा में क्रांतिकारी परिवर्तन तब आया जब 1543 ईस्वी में कॉपरनिकस ने यह बताया कि पृथ्वी नहीं बल्कि सूर्य ब्रह्मांड के केंद्र में है।

*1805 ईस्वी में ब्रिटेन के खगोल्ज्ञ हरसेल दूरबीन की सहायता से अंतरिक्ष का अध्ययन करके बताया कि" सौरमंडल आकाशगंगा का एक अंश मात्र है"।

* अमेरिका के खगोलज्ञ  एडविन पी हबल ने 1925 ईस्वी में यह जानकारी थी कि -दृश्य पत्र में आने वाले ब्रह्मांड का व्यास ढाई सौ करोड़(250 करोड़) प्रकाश वर्ष है।

नोट 1- वर्ष->सूर्य के प्रकाश द्वारा निर्वात में 1 वर्ष में चली गई दूरी प्रकाश वर्ष कहलाती है। प्रकाश द्वारा 1 वर्ष में चली गई दूरी=9.4607*10^12 किलोमीटर है।

Cosmos - The combined form of molecules ranging from molecules to a huge giant galaxy is called universe.In which stars, planets, meteors etc. are studied

 Claudius Talmi, the eminent astronomer of the Egyptian Greek tradition, first started a regular study of the universe and stated that "Earth is at the center of the Sun and revolves around the Sun and other planets".

 A revolutionary change in this ideology came when Copernicus stated in 1543 AD that the Sun is not the earth but the center of the universe.

 * In 1805 CE, astronomers from Britain studied the space with the help of Harsel telescope and said that "the solar system is just a fraction of the galaxy".

 * American astronomer Edwin P. Hubble had information in 1925 that the diameter of the universe appearing in the letter of view is two and a half hundred (250 million) light years.

 Note 1- year-> The distance traveled by sunlight in vacuum in 1 year is called light year.  The distance traveled by Prakash in 1 year is = 9.4607 * 10 ^ 12 kilometers.
